Community Invited to Attend Upcoming Family Fun Fest at the Kroc Center

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is opening its doors for a Free Family Fun Fest on Saturday, January 7, 2012.  From 10 am to 6 pm, families (members and non-members) are invited to visit the Kroc Center for FREE.

Major Bobby Lancaster, Area Coordinator for The Salvation Army of Greenville shares, “We are very excited to open the Kroc Center to the community.  It will be a great day to see all the fun you can have at the Kroc Center.”

There will be games, prizes, arts and crafts, a family fitness challenge, indoor swimming activities, Zumba, music, rock wall climbing, and much more fun for the entire family.  The tennis courts, located at 205 Gibbs Street, will also be open to the public during the Free Family Fun Fest.  The public is invited to reserve a court in advance by calling 864-320-4798.

Families visiting the Kroc Center will be asked to complete a Day Pass Registration in order to redeem free admission to the facility.  Parents must sign waivers for their own children.  Download the waiver at http://www.krocgreenville.org/membership.

Attendees can take advantage of January membership promotions during their visit.  There are no registration fees during the month of January only.

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is located at 424 Westfield Street, Greenville.
