COVID-19 Guidelines: Help Stop the Spread
UPDATE: Starting Friday, January 15, 2021
Dear Kroc Greenville Members and Guests,
In support of heightened local efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and to increase protection of our staff and members as COVID cases rise dramatically in Greenville, Kroc Greenville is adding certain requirements to our existing safety procedures.
Starting Friday, January 15, all staff, members and visitors ages five and older temporarily will be required to properly wear masks upon entering the building and when in all areas of the building.
Masks will be required at all times unless actively participating in the following:
- Aquatics class, lesson or program
- Fitness exercise, class or training
- Youth or adult sports
However, masks must be worn before and after participation in any of the aforementioned activities. Masks will also not be required while actively eating or drinking, or while showering.
We recognize the inconvenience and potential discomfort of wearing a mask. Masks have been required for staff since March and we all understand the additional burden.
We must also recognize the risks to staff, members and visitors that exist when we or others do not take all precautions to slow the virus spread. We ask all of your cooperation and compliance with these new mask requirements, and hope that we can all do our part to keep our community safe and Kroc Greenville’s doors open.
As COVID cases decline, we will revisit this mask requirement.
We respond to each written request for accommodations privately.
