Fred Collins Performing Arts and Worship Center
The Performing Arts and Worship Center provides an intimate performance space featuring seating for up to 340 people, a proscenium-style sprung-floor stage, an automated curtain system to provide a black box theater setting, a loading dock, as well as dressing rooms, green room, sound room and box office. This flexible venue is suitable for everything from plays and musical performances to corporate meetings and weddings.
Waggoner Conference Center and Younts Courtyard
The Conference Center provides a meeting space that can accommodate a variety of events. It can hold 288 people in banquet style seating (8 people per round table) or 400 in theater seating (chairs only). With adjustable interior walls, the 4,800-sq-ft conference center can also be divided in to five smaller rooms: four 625-sq-ft rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people per room and one 2,400-sq-ft room that can accommodate up to 220. The Conference Center is also equipped with state-of-the-art A/V equipment including projector, screen and sound system. The courtyard can be used for event overflow or to increase your potential number of guests, allowing event planners multiple creative options. The Conference Center is supported by a full service catering department.
Child Watch Area
Our Child Watch area provides a safe, secure environment for children, infant to five years old, while parents are participating in on-site activities. This three room space is filled with intriguing features like game consoles and TVs for the older children as well as an abundance of age-appropriate toys for younger children. Our Child Watch area allows even the youngest family members to be part of the Kroc Center community.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club
As the new home for The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greenville County, this secure, self-contained area with a seperate entrance for club members provides space for a game room, a mega-projection entertainment system, a teen lounge, a fully stocked computer lab, and art/homework room.
Just off the lobby, the Gymnasium is centrally located within the facility. The Gymnasium can be utilized as a high-school regulation court with seating for 400 people on retractable bleachers or two courts with no seating. The gym can also accommodate other activities such as volleyball, floor hockey and even roller skating thanks to its durable, linoleum sprung flooring.
Our Aquatics Center is a very exciting place where kids and adults of all ages can participate. Within the Aquatics Center, we have a 25-yard, 6-lane lap pool which can be used for leisure lap swimming as well as the more aggressive racing. There is also a zero-entry pool which provides fun for the whole family with its many water features. One of the main water features is a full-sized water slide which exits the building and re-enters landing you into the main pool. There is also a whirlpool spa that can hold 12 people at a time.
The Fitness Center provides access to high quality cardio-equipment and circuit training stations in a family-friendly environment. Filled with natural light and overlooking the synthetic soccer field and Swamp Rabbit Trail, the Fitness Center is the perfect addition to the many health and wellness offerings of the Kroc Center. Its proximity to the Child Watch area, Gymnasium, The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, and Café allows parents to be close to their children who may be in a program or on a team using one of the nearby spaces at the same time.
The Kroc Café offers a wide selection of sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Located just outside the Aquatics area, the cafe provides a great viewing area of the pool for parents while their children play, as well as a a quiet place for guests to take advantage of the Kroc Center’s free WiFi access. This inviting, pleasant café seats around 80 people and features TVs and drink machines. It is a great place to build friendships, converse or rent for parties and other gatherings.
