KROC BIBLE STUDY

Kroc Greenville invites you to a Bible study designed to strengthen community relationships, respond to expressed interests, and serve people’s spiritual, emotional, and social needs while faithfully and responsibly expressing The Salvation Army’s Christian identity and mission.

Creative Arts Academy is a program put on by the Kroc Church and is open to the community. Participants engage in devotions, character-building badge work, and learn about selected electives: Drums, Art, Band, Piano, & Dance.

As an Area Commander/ Senior Kroc Officer, I have the pleasure of working alongside wonderful people. I'm your average English Jesus lover, but I also hold a BA in Christian Ministry as a graduate of The Salvation Army Evangeline Booth College. 

As a teacher, enjoy group discussions. I will offer questions that are designed to discover the true meaning behind the scriptural text.

Before becoming a Salvation Army Minister, I was the Business Administrator for The Salvation Army's Area Command in Richmond VA.  Outside of work, I am a tuba player and enjoy the fellowship of Brass Bands. My favorite time is spent with my wife.

While I hold the title of Kroc Greenville's Executive Director, I am a follower of Jesus, first and foremost. My background is in corporate management consulting for 14 years and nonprofits after that. My favorite part of my work at The Kroc is interacting with diverse groups of people to help achieve their physical and spiritual goals. 

I've led Bible studies at several churches throughout my adult life and describe my teaching style as interactive and discussion based. Outside of The Kroc, I enjoy spending time with my family and getting away to the beach from time to time.

Prior to my role as Program Director at The Kroc helping Sports, Aquatics, and Fitness departments plan and facilitate swim lessons, sports leagues, personal training, and more, I worked in healthcare and cross-cultural ministry in the ER and Brazil. I'm inquisitive, personable, and collaborative, and my favorite part of my current position is seeing our youth and adult programs come to life. 

I hold a Public Health Degree and a seminary certificate in Christian Counseling. My teaching style is adaptive and collaborative. I love working through tough questions with a group through thoughtful discussion. Outside of The Kroc, I enjoy being outdoors and trying new foods with my family.
