The Kroc Center is custom made for Greenville. The 26 Kroc Centers throughout America were built and developed by The Salvation Army through a very generous $1.5 billion gift from Joan Kroc.
When the Kroc Centers were being built in the late 2000s, each community, including Greenville, was required to raise a percentage of the funds necessary to open the center. Our Greenville community graciously pledged the funds needed, and we opened our doors in 2011!
Kroc Center Greenville was tailored to the city’s needs: a 74,000-square-foot building resting on 25 acres dedicated to recreation, education, and worship for members of all ages and backgrounds. We invest in you because the Greenville community invested in us.
Whether you’re a mom who considers child watch a must, a young person who benefits from our youth programs, or a community member who finds fellowship and friendship through our busy calendar of events, you can find your place here.
We take pride in knowing our members personally and encouraging their growth from the inside out. We also take pride in being a true community center. Kroc Centers across the United States offer scholarships so that everyone–regardless of his or her walk of life–can find community here.
